DMCA Policy
The Lux Designer is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others. We expect our readers and contributors to do the same. As a blog focused on luxury design, including authentic furniture and interior aesthetics, we understand the value of original content and creative works.
This policy outlines the procedures we follow to address alleged copyright infringement in compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”). We will respond to valid notices of alleged infringement that comply with the DMCA and other applicable laws.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content on The Lux Designer infringes your copyright, you may send us a DMCA takedown notice. Your notice must be a written communication and include the following specific details:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. Provide enough detail to locate the work, such as a URL or a precise description.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity. You must provide information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material on the site, including specific URLs.
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the complaining party. This includes an address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter-Notification Process
If your content was removed due to a DMCA notice, and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you have the right to submit a counter-notification. We will provide a copy of the counter-notification to the original complaining party. They will then have 10 business days to inform us that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain you from engaging in infringing activity relating to the material on The Lux Designer.
To file a counter-notification, you must provide a written communication that includes these elements:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access was disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which The Lux Designer may be found. You must also state that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.

Repeat Infringer Policy
The Lux Designer does not tolerate repeat infringements. In accordance with the DMCA, we reserve the right to terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat copyright infringers. This includes users who have had multiple pieces of content removed based on valid DMCA takedown notices. We maintain records of all notices and counter-notices received.
