Corrections Policy

The Lux Designer is committed to providing accurate and reliable information about luxury furniture, design trends, and authentic pieces. We aim for precision in all our articles, from identifying genuine Italian furniture to exploring global design influences. Our readers depend on our content for informed perspectives and inspiration.

Types of Corrections

We distinguish between different kinds of content adjustments. Each type receives a specific approach to ensure clarity and transparency.

  • Minor Fixes: These include typographical errors, grammar mistakes, broken links, or minor phrasing adjustments that do not alter the factual meaning. We correct these discreetly without a specific notice.
  • Significant Corrections: This category covers factual inaccuracies, misstated information, or material omissions that could mislead readers. For example, if we misidentify a designer or incorrectly describe a material or design detail.
  • Retractions: In rare cases, an article might contain severe, widespread factual errors or misleading information that undermines its entire premise. When this happens, we will retract the article.

How Corrections Are Noted

For significant corrections, we will add a clear “Correction” notice. This notice appears at the top or bottom of the affected article. It will explain what was changed and the date of the correction. The original incorrect information will be updated within the text.

If an article is retracted, its content will be removed. A notice will replace the article, stating that it has been retracted and briefly explaining the reason for the retraction.
